Geely now has wide dealership coverage and a growing model range.
Until recently, the only mention of Geely would be to say that it’s the company that owns Volvo, Polestar, Smart, Lotus and LEVC. But in late 2025, Geely Auto started selling its own-brand cars in the UK, which are typically well equipped and sensibly priced, if a little blandly styled. The ownership proposition is soothed by an eight-year/125,000-mile warranty.
Geely SUV range
Geely EX5
The EX5 is Geely’s electric SUV. Starting at under £32,000 before any discounts, the EX5 offers a smart and spacious interior with lots of different textures and finishes. There’s plenty of rear-seat space for even the most vertically gifted passengers, and a decently practical 461-litre boot. A 60kWh battery gives you up to 255 miles between charges, which should be enough for most drivers who can charge at home – but rivals like the Volkswagen ID.4 and Renault Scenic E-Tech can go further.

Geely Starray
Beneath nipped and tucked styling, the Geely Starray shares its bones with the EX5. But while the EX5 is fully electric, the Starray is a plug-in hybrid so it comes with a battery and a petrol engine. Even so, the Starray runs on electric power as often as possible, and the 84-mile e-range means you could use it as a pure EV for most journeys. Then, for longer journeys, you’ve got the backup of a petrol engine.

Geely Monjaro
Sitting above the Starray is the new Monjaro, another plug-in-hybrid SUV. There’ll be a similar electric-focused powertrain as the Starray, although the Monjaro will inject an e-AWD system to provide extra grip in slippery conditions. Named after Mount Kilimanjaro, Geely’s new SUV will hope to jab at the likes of the BMW X3 and Audi Q5.

Geely hatchback range
Geely EX2
China’s best-selling car in 2025 is now available to buy in the UK. The Geely EX2 is barely longer than a Ford Fiesta or Vauxhall Corsa, but has more passenger and boot space than most larger family hatchbacks. Its range and performance figures are modest, which should keep the price down, and there’s a lot of tech for the size of car. Geely has set the car up to focus on comfort, which should appeal if your local road surfaces resemble Martian craters rather than smooth asphalt.
